Skating on the Promenade

I think Sunday is my favorite day here.
I got up this morning and took the bus to church.  It went a lot smoother this week.  The members were all really nice yet again.  I'm kind of sad that next week I'll be in Paris and won't get to spend more time with them.
My host mom insisted that her husband give me a ride home after church so that I could have lunch with them.  Lunch was interesting; we had some sort of a hamburger patty, but it was very under cooked.  Everyone else was eating it though, so I did too.  I feel fine.
After lunch Jullie (I guess my "host sister") and I went out rollerblading.  It turns out we have to same foot size, and she had two pairs of roller-blades.  We skated down the Promenade des Anglais very slowly because she said she hadn't roller-bladed in a few years.  We went pretty far when the weirdest thing happened, part of one of the wheels on Jullie's roller-blade came off.  Looking at the wheel it looked like it was made of some kind of foam.  I looked at the wheels on my roller-blades, but they were normal plastic.  We ended up walking the rest of the Promenade.  We got some pictures by the sea, then walked back.
The rest of the afternoon I spent relaxing like I would any other Sunday back home.
For dinner tonight we had steak, and I just think it's funny because my host mom asked my host dad to check if they were cooked all the way through.  They check their steak but not the hamberger I guess.  Anyway the steak was still a little rare, but not bad.
