I haven't posted anything lately because I've been quite busy the last few days, and have been so tired when I got home it just crash. I'll save the major details of what I've been up to later, but I wanted to share really quickly what has probably been my favorite thing I've done here.
Tonight we went to this outlook on the bay to watch the sunset. We got there too late to watch the sunset, but there were steps from the outlook to the cliffs below and we went down there. It kind of reminded me of Hercules when Phil was climbing down the steps to get to the boat.
Anyway, the waves were strong tonight, and they were crashing against these cliffs and shooting up into the air. I didn't mean to get wet, but after climbing down on the cliffs I got splashed a few times. We just kind of stood on the rocks and watched the water fly into the air around us. It doesn't sound like much, but truthfully it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I think I could've stayed staring at it for a lot longer.
The whole time of was reminded of the grandeur of God, and seeing this was like the ocean was baring testimony to me that God was it's Grand Creator. I was just filled with awe and amazement, and looking back on it now I probably
felt the Spirit as well.
I think I'm really going to miss the ocean when I leave.
I'm posting a picture of the water crashing, put others took pictures of me with the waves shooting up around me that I hope to get soon
.
